Lonna Castro, of Hampton Bays, has been hired as library director at Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library in Shirley. Castro was library director at Quogue Library in Quogue.

Brandon Kaminker, of Atlantic Beach, has been hired as an associate attorney at Bullard Law Group in Melville. Kaminker was an intern at the firm and a 2024 graduate from Hofstra Law School in Hempstead.
