FOODIE FEST IN DEER PARK

SEE PLANES AT AMERICAN AIRPOWER MUSEUM

See the “Legends of Airpower” on display including the WWII B-25 Mitchell bomber, North American P-51D Mustang, Grumman TBM-3E Avenger and Curtiss P-40M War hawk of Flying Tigers fame taking off for the practice and air show at Jones Beach May 24-26.Visitors at the museum can see the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the U.S.A.F. A-10 demo team flying in and out of Republic Airport also on their way to the Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach, May 25-26. Also, see the WWII C-47 80th Anniversary D-Day Living History Exhibit with WWII living historians on May 25. FLIP CIRCUS AT WALT WHITMAN SHOPS

See performers from Brazil, India, the Czech Republic, the United States and more as they perform aerial acts, acrobatics, unicycling and by the Flip Circus Band at 7:30 p.m. May 24; 1, 4 and 7 p.m. May 25-26; 7:30 p.m. May 27-May 28 in the parking lot at Walt Whitman Shops. LI DUCKS GAME IN CENTRAL ISLIP

BETHPAGE AIR SHOW AT JONES BEACH

This year marks the 20th anniversary and the return of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. "The Blue Angels performed at the first ever show, and it is very fitting for them to join us for this special milestone,” says Linda Armyn, president and CEO of Bethpage Federal Credit Union. See highflying stunts with additional aerial performers including the U.S. Army Golden Knights, the U.S. Marines F-35B Demo, U.S. Navy Growler Legacy Team, the American Airpower Museum Warbirds and more, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 25-26. BABY ANIMAL FESTIVAL AT HARBES FAMILY FARM

WESTHAMPTON BEACH FINE ART FESTIVAL

PLACE FLAGS FOR VETERANS IN FARMINGDALE AND CALVERTON

Volunteers are needed to place American flags on veterans' graves. Flags will be provided; meet at 7:30 a.m. May 25 at Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale. Return to the cemetery at 8 a.m. June 1 to remove flags. Enter at the main gate on Wellwood Avenue; 2040 Wellwood Ave.; cem.va.gov, 631-454-4949.
