People on the Move: Long Island promotions, new jobs

Dr. Courtney Pendleton, of East Setauket, has been hired as an associate neurosurgeon at Back & Neck Specialists of New York in Port Jefferson. Pendleton was director of the Peripheral Nerve Surgery Center at Stony Brook University Hospital in East Setauket.

Dr. Jordan C. Iordanou, of Lloyd Harbor, has been hired as an associate neurosurgeon at Back & Neck Specialists of New York in Huntington. Iordanou was a stereotactic and functional neurosurgery fellow at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Salvatore A. Monello, of Bellmore, has been hired as an associate attorney at Salenger, Sack, Kimmel & Bavaro in Woodbury. Monello was an associate attorney at Cotter Law Group in Manhasset.

Roger C. Lehneis, of Oakdale, chief financial officer at Premier Prosthetics, based in San Antonio, Texas, works remotely, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Oakdale Civic Association in Oakdale.

Mary Brite, of Bellport, chief compliance officer at Outreach Development Corporation in Brentwood, has been promoted to chief operating officer.

David Vizzini, of Hauppauge, vice president of operations at Outreach Development Corporation in Brentwood, has been promoted to chief administrative officer.

Eileen Fredericks, of Seaford, has been hired as director of human resources at Variety Child Learning Center in Syosset. Fredericks was assistant superintendent for instruction and personnel in the Carle Place Union Free School District.

Jocelyn Marcelino, of Seaford, has been hired as a paralegal at Davis & Ferber in Islandia. Marcelino was a paralegal at the Law Offices of Peter R. Garcia in Stony Brook. 

Natale Raimo, of St. James, has been hired as executive director at the American Cancer Society, main headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, working remotely. Raimo was national director for walk to defeat ALS at ALS Association, main headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.

Patti Walsh, of West Islip, has been hired as director of client engagement at Cona Elder Law in Melville. Walsh was regional sales specialist at Sunrise Senior Living in Dix Hills.

David Rosario, of Bay Shore, has been hired as a tax associate at Sasserath & Co. in Ronkonkoma. Rosario was a tax intern at FLSV in Garden City.

Richard Santoro, of Massapequa, has been hired as an associate principal at Robert Frost Middle School in Deer Park. Santora was an assistant principal at the West Hempstead Secondary School in West Hempstead.

Mariana Edaes, of Glen Cove, has been hired as program coordinator at Friends of the Bay in Oyster Bay. Edaes was a science teacher at Stance Dual School in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Vinita Jeanette Permenter, of Brookhaven, chief operating officer at Rise Life Services in Riverhead, has been promoted to chief executive.

Katherine Hui, of Great Neck, has been hired as a staff designer 1 at H2M architects + engineers in Melville. Hui was an architectural designer at Fete Nature Architecture in Brooklyn.

Charles Mediavilla, of Huntington Station, has been hired as a staff engineer 1 at H2M architects + engineers in Melville. Mediavilla is a recent graduate of Syracuse University in Syracuse, Ne wYork.

Edwin Maldonado, of Seaford, an associate at Rivkin Radler in Uniondale, has been elected to the board of directors of the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association (LIHBA) in Garden City.

Colleen Cafiso, of Holtsville, the dean of North Babylon High School in North Babylon, has been promoted to assistant principal.

Michael Colwell, of North Babylon, a security guard at North Babylon High School in North Babylon has been promoted to director of school safety.

Matthew Colson, of St. James, has been hired as vice president for foundation and external affairs at Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson. Colon was vice president for development at Farmingdale State College in Farmingdale.
