Nassau Candy, a Hicksville-based company, is expanding and adding 50 jobs. It says its third factory will help meet growing demand.

Long Island's unemployment rate rises again

LI homebuyers purchased homes at record prices in May. Nassau was 13% higher than in the same month a year ago and Suffolk rose 14.2% in the same period.
