I’m your weekday anchor for NewsdayTV, and here’s a little about my career.

I’m an Emmy, Murrow and duPont award-winning journalist. I’ve spent more than a decade covering breaking news and leading in companies including Optimum, Nexstar and NBC.

As a journalist, I strive to dissect the most complicated issues into understandable and impactful stories.

With a master’s degree in Interactive Media, a bachelor’s in Broadcast Journalism & TV/Video Production, I have a huge passion for connecting and growing online and offline audiences.

So, where am I from? Well, I was born in Queens and raised in Westchester. But growing up, I would often visit Long Island to experience countless gems and more importantly visit my favorite summertime location, Jones Beach. And yes, I made sure to bring a cooler filled with delicious Long Island deli sandwiches to enjoy on the sand.

As a journalist, I strive to dissect the most complicated issues into understandable and impactful stories. I strongly feel viewers and journalists should work together to make sure all questions and concerns on covered topics are answered and not ignored.

I appreciate that Long Island viewers are engaged in their communities and are always willing to share their stories. It’s just one of the many things that makes Long Island great.

When I’m not anchoring, I spend my time with my wife and three young children. Yes, three. It’s a busy home!

When I am not reading bedtime stories, or applying Band-Aids, I am a big lover of tech, product innovation, and a good Long Island iced coffee.

One of the things I like best about working at Newsday is the rich history. If it happens on the Island or impacts the Island, this team has it covered.

We have an eye and ear throughout the Island, and I couldn’t be happier to join such a passionate group.
