Division I

Lindenhurst 29, Commack 28: Mikey Russo’s 25-yard pick-six gave Lindenhurst its first lead of the game Saturday in the fourth quarter before Marty Pusey blocked Commack’s tying PAT attempt with four minutes left as visiting Lindenhurst erased a 22-point deficit to win. James Gorman had 106 total yards, including a 45-yard touchdown catch for Lindenhurst (4-1). Pusey and Hunter DeRondeeach had eight tackles. Reece Wrightington threw two TD passes and converted a rush on 4th-and-3 to seal the game. Lincoln Riggs threw four TD passes, including two to AJ Arizonis for Commack (2-3).

Whitman 14, Sachem North 7: Jonas Templeton finished with 148 rushing yards and a touchdown on 24 carries, including a game-sealing run to convert on fourth down inside the game’s final two minutes for host Whitman (3-2). Xavier Ali had 14 tackles and Dom Chiusano had two sacks.

Bay Shore 40, Central Islip 0: Jayden Jean and Cato Thomas combined to rush for 274 yards and three touchdowns for visiting Bay Shore (2-3). Xavier Hector had three touchdown passes for Bay Shore, and Eriq St. Louis had five receptions for 85 yards and two TDs.

Longwood 35, Sachem East 7: Davien Benjamin-Sheffey had 85 rushing yards and a TD on 13 carries as Longwood took a 21-0 lead on the road in the second quarter. He also had three tackles and two pass breakups. Kaden Reid had a 1-yard touchdown run and two interceptions. Makai Bell added three tackles, a tackle for loss and a sack for Longwood (4-1).

Connetquot 55, Riverhead 0: Andrew Amarando had five receptions for 77 yards and three touchdowns for Connetquot (4-1) in its home win. Javon Barnwell rushed for 68 yards and three touchdowns on five carries. Mike Catera had an interception and a fumble recovery, as well as three tackles for a loss. Lucas Weaver had nine tackles, including three for a loss, and a forced fumble.

Friday’s game

Patchogue-Medford 24, Brentwood 7: Dom Pertillar and Javen Eason had two sacks each as host Patchogue-Medford (2-3) finished with eight sacks. Aaron Huether had 29 carries for 133 yards and a TD, and Tommy Kelly rushed three times for 31 yards and two scores. Alex Deluca hit a clutch 33-yard field goal to give the Raiders (2-3) a 10-point lead with 7:47 left in the fourth quarter. Tulio Chavez recovered a third-quarter fumble for Brentwood (1-4) and returned it for a 10-yard TD.

Division II

Centereach 10, Newfield 8: Dylan Duran found Jack Cavalieri for a 5-yard reception touchdown in the second quarter to give Centereach a lead it would never relinquish against Newfield on Friday. Patrick Bono made a 25-yard field goal to extend the lead to 10-0 in the second quarter for Centereach (2-3). Duran also forced a fumble, which was recovered by Jamal Joda who finished with two sacks. Cavalieri, Christian Vasques and Anthony Innocent each had an interception. Anthony Secker and Jake Mikochik had one sack each. Chris Mastres had a 60-yard touchdown reception and a two-point conversion run in the fourth quarter for Newfield (4-1).

North Babylon 55, West Islip 28: Jawara Keahey rushed for 230 yards on 14 carries and scored four touchdowns for visiting North Babylon (2-3). Jordan Konig rushed for 132 yards and scored three touchdowns on 11 carries. Malyk Montenegro had an interception return in the game to help aide in the victory. TJ Sonnenberg had two passing touchdowns for West Islip (1-4).

East Islip 42, West Babylon 0: Ryan Parker capped off East Islip’s opening drive with an 8-yard TD run before intercepting West Babylon’s first play from scrimmage and scoring on a 22-yard rush the next play in a road win. Parker finished with 144 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 18 carries, adding an interception and a sack on defense. Jaden Schmidt’s sack and forced fumble led Wattson Pierre-Louis to jump on the ball in the end zone for a touchdown.

Wednesday’s games

Smithtown West 30, Copiague 21: Michael Cascione ran 21 times for 206 yards with a 60-yard rushing touchdown as Smithtown West (4-1) battled to a road win. Cascione also converted two 2-PT attempts. Jason Antunes had 47 yards and two TDs, and Nick Devito ran for 81 yards and a touchdown. Cody Tiringer punched in two 2-yard touchdowns on the ground for Copiague (0-5).

Smithtown East 34, Deer Park 14: Antonio Marrone completed 17 of 26 passes for 258 yards and five touchdowns for Smithtown East (2-3) in its road win over Deer Park (0-5). Joseph Fallon had eight receptions for 150 yards and three touchdowns, and Dylan Zizzo had 10 carries for 121 yards. Damien Scott scored a 55-yard rushing touchdown for Deer Park.

Thursday’s game

Half Hollow Hills East 27, Northport 0: Daniel White ran for 301 yards and three touchdowns and added 40 receiving yards to lead visiting Half Hollow Hills East (4-1). Najee Sexil had 12 tackles and a forced fumble and Sebastian Damis had seven tackles and two sacks. Noah Chlapp ran for 50 yards and had 10 tackles, four pass breakups and a forced fumble and Jayden Bryant had 10 tackles and two fumble recoveries.

Division III

Islip 20, Comsewogue 17:  Louis Tuorto’s 35-yard interception return for a touchdown off a Dylan Smith deflection opened up a 10-point lead with seven minutes to go in the third quarter for host Islip on Thursday. Cal Zusi had 12 tackles and an interception for Islip (4-1). Brady Nash rushed 19 times for 112 yards and two TDs, and completed 17 of 27 passes for 224 yards. Jake DeGennaro had seven catches for 73 yards and Dylan Smith had four catches for 101 yards and two rushes for 62 yards. Comsewogue is 2-3.

Hauppauge 35, Eastport-South Manor 20: Joe Pistritto caught six passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns, adding an interception and a forced fumble to help visiting Hauppauge (4-1) overcome a 12-0 first-quarter deficit. Nick Lachapelle completed 9 of 13 passes for 260 yards and three TDs. Gershon Diaz had 15 carries for 85 yards and a score. Guy Donnelly returned a fumble 40 yards for a TD after Liam O’Connor’s strip sack. Max Ferraro ran in two touchdowns for Eastport-South Manor (2-3).

Half Hollow Hills West 49, Rocky Point 6: Joseph Filardi completed all six of his pass attempts for 261 yards and four touchdowns to lead host Half Hollow Hills West (5-0). Anthony Raio returned a 42-yard punt for a TD and had a 70-yard touchdown reception. Christian Alfaro rushed six times for 86 yards and two scores. Mason Reisch caught two balls for 92 yards, including a 56-yard touchdown. Reisch made four tackles, including three for a loss and a sack. Jayden Smith made seven tackles, including two for a loss, as well as a forced fumble and recovery. Rocky Point is 2-3.

Harborfields 20, Amityville 0: Tyler D’Amico had 115 yards on 25 carries and two touchdowns for host Harborfields (1-4). The Tornadoes’ defense dominated the game, allowing less than 100 yards. Andrew Hoppe had five solo tackles and two pass breakups. Ryan Olson had six tackles and two sacks. Amityville is 1-4.

Sayville 57, Kings Park 21: Patrick Coan completed 10 of 13 passes for 239 yards and two touchdowns and added three carries for 86 yards and three TDs to lead visiting Sayville (5-0). Kyle Messina had nine carries for 114 yards and two TDs and Tristan Vitale exploded for a 73-yard TD run. Tomas McCann caught three passes for 101 yards and a TD. Kings Park is 0-5.

Division IV

Center Moriches 17, Shoreham-Wading River 14: After Center Moriches’ defense forced a stop on fourth down at its own 2-yard line, Brayden Hromada led a eight-minute drive to set up Dan Jurgens’winning 29-yard field goal as time expired on Friday. Hromada finished with 232 rushing yards on 26 carries, including a 56-yard rushing score and a 21-yard passing TD to Shane Gallagher. Hromada added 14 tackles, an INT and a sack for Center Moriches (3-2). Shoreham-Wading River is 3-2.

Bayport-Blue Point 42, Wyandanch 6: Sean Coffey caught a 63-yard touchdown pass from Cooper Fuller and rushed for 100 yards and two TDs on five carries for visiting Bayport-Blue Point (5-0). Elijah Duncan had an 87-yard kick return for a touchdown for Wyandanch (0-5).

Glenn 47, Hampton Bays 0: KaRahn King had 200 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns, and Cole Madden completed 13 of 14 passes for 150 yards and two TDs for visiting Glenn (2-3). Jayce Boyle-Summers had a 70-yard pick-6. Hampton Bays is 1-4.

Mount Sinai 42, Port Jefferson 14: Ryan Filippi and Logan Geraghty combined for 157 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 20 carries, leading Mount Sinai (3-2) to a road win. John Pramataris had two sacks and a fumble recovery and Vincent Cardone had seven tackles and an INT. Chris Diot ran in two touchdowns for Port Jefferson (1-4).

Wednesday’s games

Miller Place 57, Southampton 0: Shane Kiernan was 10-for-11 passing for 131 yards and three TDs for host Miller Place (3-2). Ethan Monaco had five catches for 81 yards, and AJ Rudolph caught two touchdown passes. Southampton is 0-5.

Babylon 35, Greenport/Southold/Mattituck 0: Aidan Winter rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on five carries and Kai Jankow rushed for two scores for host Babylon (5-0). Greenport/Southold/Mattituck is 3-2.
