Usman Iqbal scored two goals, including the golden goal off a pass from Eamon Griffin in the second overtime, to lead No. 5 New Hyde Park to a 2-1 win over No. 4 Manhasset in the Nassau Class AA boys soccer quarterfinals on Friday. Simon Thomas made eight saves, including two in the first overtime. New Hyde Park (11-5-2) will face No. 1 Garden City in the semifinals at 6 p.m. on Monday at Farmingdale State. Luka Busljeta scored a goal and Matthew DiConza made 10 saves for Manhasset (11-5-2).
Garden City 3, Great Neck North 0: Myles Watson, Justin Woodbine and Luca Profeta each scored a goal to lead No. 1 Garden City over No. 8 Great Neck North in the Nassau Class AA quarterfinals. Jack Costa had two assists, Conor Griffin added one assist and Ian Pupke made six saves for Garden City (18-0). GNN finished 11-6-1.

Garden City 2, Manhasset 0: Sophie Rhein scored off an assist from Katherine Monaco seven minutes into No. 1 Garden City’s win over No. 8 Manhasset in the Nassau Class AA quarterfinals. LeeLee Gaffney added a goal off an assist from Chloe Benik and Marissa Patrissi made six saves. Garden City (13-1-4) will face No. 4 Calhoun in the semifinals on Tuesday at Cold Spring Harbor. Sophia Grullon made 15 saves for Manhasset (4-8-3).
Calhoun 4, Long Beach 0: Alex Aievoli had two goals and two assists to lead No. 4 Calhoun over No. 5 Long Beach in the Nassau Class AA quarterfinals. Sabrina Curcio and Liana Serrano each added a goal and Abby Da Silva made five saves for her second shutout of the postseason. Elle Napoli and Lauren Rosario each had an assist for Calhoun (3-11-13). Long Beach finished 7-5-2.
MacArthur 4, Bethpage 1: Ysabelle Perillo scored two goals to lead No. 3 MacArthur over No. 6 Bethpage in the Nassau Class AA semifinals. Gina Iannuzzi and Bella Calabro each added a goal and Caitlin Barry and Mia Rodriguez each had two assists. MacArthur (10-5-2) will face the winner of No. 2 South Side and No. 7 Mepham in the semifinals on Tuesday at Cold Spring Harbor. Bethpage finished 8-7-3.

Port Washington 1, Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 0: Riley Shalom scored an unassisted goal in the second half to lead No. 4 Port Washington over No. 5 Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK in the Nassau Class AAA quarterfinals. Alexis Palmer made four saves and Riley Scobbo made three saves. Port Washington (12-2-1) will face No. 1 Oceanside in the semifinals at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Cold Spring Harbor. Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK finished 3-8-3.

Huntington 2, Connetquot 1: Charlotte Curtin scored the winning goal off an assist from Ava Bencivenga with 5:05 left in overtime in No. 7 Huntington’s win over No. 10 Connetquot in the first round of the Suffolk Class A Tournament. Bencivenga added a goal off an assist from Curtin. Huntington (9-6-1) will visit No. 2 Northport in the quarterfinals at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Payton Dugan scored off an assist from Julianna Daina and Addison Iocca made 10 saves for Connetquot, which finished 6-8-1.
Seaford 3, New Hyde Park 2: Juliet Stebner scored a goal off an assist from Madison O’Hagan with 6:49 left to lead Seaford in Nassau II. O’Hagan scored the tying goal in the third quarter and assisted on Stebner’s goal in the second quarter. Taylor Jebaily made 11 saves for Seaford (12-2). Eileen O’Shea had a goal and an assist, Emily Sepcaru added a goal and Isabella Privilegi made 12 saves for New Hyde Park (7-7-1).

Half Hollow Hills East 7, Commack 0: Kate Holland defeated Amelia Kleiman, 2-6, 7-5, 10-4, at first singles to lead No. 2 Half Hollow Hills East over No. 6 Commack in the Suffolk Large School semifinals. Half Hollow Hills East (14-2) advances to its fourth straight county final, in which it will face top-seeded Westhampton at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Smithtown East. Commack finished 10-4.
