CJ Marino scored the winning goal with 10:49 left in the first overtime to lead No. 11 West Islip over No. 2 Half Hollow Hills West, 2-1, in the Suffolk Class AA boys soccer semifinals on Wednesday. Nico Acosta scored a first-half goal off a cross from Charlie Basini to open the scoring. West Islip (10-7-1) will face No. 9 Comsewogue in the county championship game at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Patchogue-Medford. Carlos Hernandez scored a second-half goal for Hills West, which finished 12-4-1.
Comsewogue 2, Amityville 1: Nick Hurtado scored the winning goal off an assist from Adrian Munoz in overtime of No. 9 Comsewogue’s win over No. 4 Amityville in the Suffolk Class AA semifinals. Rodrigo Rubio added a goal off an assist from Brady Mueller and Ryan Worhle made 13 saves for Comsewogue (9-7). Briam Rivera scored a goal and Christian Araque made six saves for Amityville (10-5-1).

Shoreham-Wading River 1, Islip 0: Zach Makarewicz scored the winning goal with 34:32 left to lead No. 3 Shoreham-Wading River over No. 6 Islip in the Suffolk Class A quarterfinals. Ryan Saville had an assist and Branon Smith made five saves. Shoreham-Wading River (13-4) will visit No. 2 Kings Park at 6 p.m. on Saturday in the semifinals. Jack Whitehouse made nine saves for Islip, which finished 9-7-1.
GIRLS SOCCER
Portledge 3, Hackley School 0: Maddy Jelloe, Addison Martin and Melina VonToussaint each scored to lead No. 6 Portledge over No. 3 Hackley in the quarterfinals of the NYSAIS Tournament. Jelloe scored on a penalty kick and made 16 saves in the shutout. Jelloe’s goal gave Port-ledge a 1-0 lead before Martin scored later in the first half. VonToussaint headed in the game’s final goal in the second half. Portledge (18-1-1) advances to play at No. 2 Poly Prep at 2:30 p.m. on Monday in the semifinals.
West Islip 3, East Islip 2: Jenna Obloj scored the winning goal in overtime off an assist from Leah Tomeo to lead No. 2 West Islip over No. 3 East Islip in the Suffolk Class AA semifinals. Erin Palmeri scored the tying goal on a penalty kick with seven minutes remaining. Alex Livingston added a goal and Makenna Gagliardi made seven saves. West Islip (16-1-1) will face the winner of No. 1 Eastport-South Manor-No. 5 Smithtown West in the final at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Shoreham-Wading River. Sophia Aurrecoechea made seven saves for East Islip (11-3-1).

South Side 2, MacArthur 0: Julie Faranda scored a first-half goal and Jules Roberts also scored a goal in No. 2 South Side’s win over No. 3 MacArthur in the semifinals of the Nassau Class AA tournament. South Side (9-4-2) will face No. 1 Garden City at 8:30 p.m. on Friday at Farmingdale State in the final. MacArthur finished 10-6-2.
Garden City 3, Calhoun 2: Sienna Castellano scored two goals to lead No. 1 Garden City over No. 3 Calhoun in a Nassau Class AA semifinal. Sophie Rhein scored a goal 17 minutes in to tie the score at 1. Ellie Andersen and Kathryn Monaco each had an assist for Garden City (14-1-4). Ruth Small and Jordana Bello each scored a goal for Calhoun (3-11-3).
Sayville 3, Kings Park 2: Morgan Farrell scored two goals to lead No. 4 Sayville over No. 5 Kings Park in a Suffolk Class A quarterfinal. Sophia Buffardi scored a goal and Abigal Schroeder, Lucy Livingston and Maiya Troll each had an assist. Olivia Moynihan made 12 saves for Sayville (9-2-3). Sayville will visit No. 1 Islip at 4 p.m. on Friday in the semifinals. Ava Pelo and Lucy Warywoda each scored a goal for Kings Park (7-5-3).

Hampton Bays 3, Kings Park 1: Asha Pensa-Johnson had 23 kills and five aces to lead No. 3 Hampton Bays to a 25-15, 25-14, 21-25, 25-15 win in the Suffolk Class A quarterfinals. Julia Brandes added 31 assists. Hampton Bays (13-3) will play the winner of No. 2 Westhampton vs. No. 7 Bayport-Blue Point in the semifinals on Saturday. Kings Park finished 6-7.

Kellenberg 3, St. John the Baptist 0: Stella Becker had 14 kills, five digs and two aces to lead No. 1 Kellenberg over No. 4 St. John the Baptist in the CHSAA semifinals. Bianca Sapano added 11 kills and 13 assists, including her 1,000th career assist. Kelly Miller and Alexis Gerstein each had four kills for Kellenberg (14-0). Kellenberg will face No. 2 St. Anthony’s at 1 p.m. on Sunday at St. Dominic in the final. St. John the Baptist finishes 7-3.
GIRLS SWIMMING
Hauppauge/Smithtown wins Suffolk I title. Hauppauge/Smithtown had a score of 384.50 to capture its fifth consecutive Suffolk I championship. Julia Lucca, Olivia Chiofolo, Avery Wilcox and Sarah Lucca led the way in the 200 freestyle relay, finishing with a time of 1:36.68. Half Hollow Hills/Kings Park was second with 282.50 points and Huntington/Harborfields/Whitman/Glenn finished in third place with 229.
