Grace Ryan smacked four home runs, including a grand slam, and went 5-for-5 with nine RBIs to lead North Shore softball to a 36-17 Nassau V win over West Hempstead on Saturday. Jolie Waiksnis went 4-for-4 with four runs and five RBIs and Elsa lanne went 3-for-3 with four runs and five RBIs for North Shore (8-2).

St. Anthony’s 10, Liverpool 0: Mila Fiordalisi pitched four innings with 10 strikeouts and Melissa Gordon sealed the shutout with three scoreless innings to lead St. Anthony’s (16-0) in Game 1 of the Morabito Tournament in Binghamton. Sarah Bielski and Juli Murillo had three hits each. Jackie Morra had two hits, including a home run and three RBIs.

FRIDAY’S GAMES

Babylon 4, Hauppauge 3: Eliana Romero had a walk-off double to lead Babylon (12-4) in non-league. Meghan McGurk struck out 19 and had the tying run after getting on with a double, going 3-for-4.

Huntington 7, Centereach 1: Ruby Miedenmann struck out 16 and allowed three hits to lead Huntington (8-9) in Suffolk III. Emily Barba went 3-for-4 and Adriana Abbatiello went 2-for-4.

Valley Stream Central 25, Westbury 15: Lexxie Adames went 4-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs to lead Valley Stream Central (8-4) in Nassau VI. Jaskiran Kaur had five strikeouts while going 4-for-4 with two RBIs and four runs. Sierra Roman went 4-for-5 with four RBIs and three runs.

Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 14, Long Island Lutheran 4: Michael D’Ambrosio had a grand slam and went 2-for-3 with five RBIs to lead Plainview-Old Bethpage (12-4) in non-conference. Sawyer Bogaty went 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Justin Reo, Matt Maier, and Ryan Buckhardt each had two hits with two RBIs.

Newfield 2, Northport 0: Matt Hesselbirg struck out seven and walked two in a no-hitter for Newfield (7-10) in Suffolk III.

Centereach 3, Half Hollow Hills East 0: Logan Norman threw a shutout, allowing four hits and striking out eight on 80 pitches, to lead Centereach (10-5) in Suffolk III.

Carey 14, New Hyde Park 4: Chris Obertis scored seven goals to lead Carey (9-2) in Nassau B. Ethan Pelzer had three goals and two assists. Christian Todaro had six assists. Rich Metzger made 11 saves.

Stony Brook School 6, Brentwood 5: Dominic Apazidas scored four goals, including the tying one with 1:22 left in regulation and the winning one with 40 seconds left in triple overtime to lead Stony Brook School (1-3) in non-league. Noah Menutti made nine saves.
