FIRST: O P Firecracker drops after speed-and-fade fifth last time; forward move predicted. Bold Victory also gets class relief and owns fast back numbers. Ice Time was a game third in last; worth long look.
SECOND: Elysian Meadows is training with a purpose for first start since August; both wins on Big A loam. Graywing makes first start since claimed after winning two of last three; dangerous. Ten Cent Town, idle for more than 10 months, is more than good enough on best efforts.
THIRD: My Royal Vow was a useful fourth in first start since seven-week freshener; improvement expected. Raw Power could be in the garden spot if pace meltdown ensues. Everlys Girl was a determined winner at this level last time; must consider.
FOURTH: Excellent Timing was done in by swift splits last out; takes this with softer flow. Amundson owns four wins from last five starts; big-time player. Forward Move bounced last time after fast-figured win in prior; rebound threat.
FIFTH: Mia Nipotina makes quick return after slow start versus pricier last out; outside post seals the deal. Dream On Cara failed to deliver best on muddy surface last out; dangerous on dry land. Short Shift coughed up a nearly five-length lead in the stretch last out; mixed message.
SIXTH: Margin of Air wheels back in a hurry after even third last week; tighter today. Unlimitedpotential owns speed and fast figures; very playable. Magnificent Mile, an uncoupled barn mate of top selection, would be aided by fast fractions.
SEVENTH: Peak of Chic projects as the speed of the speed with heads-up handling. La Banquera is riding a two-race winning streak; very dangerous. True Empress was an improved fourth in last; very interesting.
EIGHTH: Attorney Wade compiled four tight works since clear-cut third in debut; ready. Counter Move was just a head by a next-out winner when third in first outing; big-time player. Dear Chairman took backward step in last after front-end second in prior; worth long look. Omaha Pistol fired a blank when 90 cents on the dollar in last start; must be factored into the mix.
