Justin Bieber postpones two Madison Square Garden shows
Pop star Justin Bieber has postponed his two Madison Square Garden shows on his "Justice World Tour" after revealing Friday that he has been struck by the facial-paralysis disease Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
Concert promoter AEG Presents released a statement Sunday via the Garden's Instagram account saying, "Due to Justin's ongoing medical situation, this week's Justice Tour shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City will be postponed. Justin is receiving the best medical care possible and is determined to resume the tour as soon as he and the doctors feel he is able to continue. Details on the rescheduled MSG shows will be made public shortly."
Two-time Grammy Award wnner Bieber, 28, had been scheduled to perform Monday and Tuesday. The singer had announced his condition in an Instagram video in which one eye twitches uncontrollably as he describes the symptoms of the virus-borne disease and assures they will subside with time. He previously postponed concerts June 7 and 8 at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena, in his native Canada, and June 10 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
