It's 'Name Your Own Price Slurpee Day' at 7-Eleven

7-Eleven has partnered with a national charity to try to “freeze out hunger.”

Participating 7-Eleven locations will let you walk out Saturday with the Slurpee size and flavor of your choice, for whatever you want to pay. 

That’s right – how much that extra-large Coca-Cola Slurpee costs is up to you.

During “Name Your Own Price Slurpee Day,” 100 percent of proceeds will be donated to Feeding America, a nationwide network of food banks helping families in need.

“The more we all slurp, the more money that goes toward [this] amazing cause,” 7-Eleven wrote on a public Facebook event dedicated toward the daylong event.
