Brentwood Citibank branch robbed by woman, cops say
Suffolk County police are looking for a woman who robbed a Brentwood bank on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the woman entered Citibank at 710 Suffolk Ave. about 1:45 p.m., approached a teller and displayed a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the woman fled the bank on foot.
Police said the woman was about 5 feet, 2 inches tall with a stocky build. She was wearing white sunglasses, a pink scarf over the top of her head and shoulders, a white T-shirt, bluejeans and several rings on her hand. She also had a large, light-colored tote bag.
Detectives ask those with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain anonymous.
