Suffolk County police's Arson Squad is investigating a fire that broke out early Thursday in the lot of a Patchogue collision shop.

A police spokeswoman said four vehicles caught fire in the parking lot across the street from The Collision Centers of Patchogue, 225 Medford Ave., at about 12:50 a.m.

The vehicles were totaled in accidents and were being stored at the shop's lot, she said.

The North Patchogue Fire Department responded to put out the fires, and there were no injuries, she said.

Police said the source of the fire is unknown.
