A Bohemia man driving a van Sunday morning in Holbrook died after the vehicle drove through a red light and collided with a flatbed truck, Suffolk County police said.

Richard Norman, 66, was pronounced dead at Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue after the 8:45 a.m crash at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Veterans Memorial Highway, according to the police.

Norman, driving a van north on Broadway, went through a red light and collided with a 2005 Mitsubishi flatbed truck heading east on Veterans Memorial Highway, police said.

The driver of the flatbed, Gina Sullivan, 27, of Holbrook, and her passenger, both sustained minor injuries in the crash, which temporarily closed a portion of the highway, according to the police.
