Video: Carmelo Anthony says Knicks will be better next year
The Knicks packed it in Monday following their Game 6 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Saturday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse that ended their season.
Being the Knicks' superstar, Carmelo Anthony said he knows the Knicks' shortcomings fall on his shoulders.
"Being the face of this team, it comes down to me. I accept that. I love that challenge. I love that pressure. I embrace that."
"We as a team, we as a unit, we'll get better and be better next year."
Tyson Chandler said at the end of the day the Knicks season -- one in which they won 54 regular season games, their first Atlantic Division title since 1994 and a playoff series for the first time in 13 years -- was a success.
"We took a step in the right direction," Chandler said.
