Nassau Conference IV football Week 8 recap

Charles Tauckus rushed for 157 yards and two scores on 27 carries and had 13.5 tackles and a sack to lead Cold Spring Harbor past East Rockaway, 28-12, in Nassau Conference IV football. CJ Reilly was 5-for-10 passing for 92 yards and a touchdown and ran for 26 yards and a score on eight carries. Jesse Phelan caught a scoring pass. had two receptions for 39 yards and a TD. Aidan Burdo had seven tackles and an interception. Cold Spring Harbor improved to 5-3. East Rockaway fell to 4-4.
Seaford 42, Island Trees 0: James McHugh ran for 181 yards and three touchdowns (17, 25, 4 yards) on 12 carries and made seven tackles for Seaford. Seaford scored all of its points in the first half. A.J Arguello, Kyle Stark and Jarrod Brown scored rushing touchdowns. Devon O’Donnell had a sack and Jack Murphy and T.J. Harrington each recovered fumbles for Seaford (8-0). Island Trees is 4-4.
Clarke 38, Locust Valley 0: Nick Giardino led Clarke with two passing touchdowns and a rushing score. Nick Lannucci caught the touchdown passes.
Lawrence 20, Carle Place/ Wheatley 0: Kanye Robinson completed 13 of 20 passes for 188 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 47 yards on eight carries to lead Lawrence. Jahking King caught seven passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns and Kody Kirchner had 71 total yards and a receiving touchdown for Law- rence (2-6). Leon Canales had eight tackles.
West Hempstead 28, Oyster Bay 0: Zadrian Budhoo rushed for 98 yards and two scores on eight carries and had a 45-yard interception return for a TD to lead West Hempstead. A’Lorenz Chatman rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. and Michael AbiAoun rushed for 93 yards on 11 carries. Jurrel Hall and Corey Pierre each had two interceptions in the win. West Hempstead improved to 4-4 and Oyster Bay fell to 2-6.
