Ryan Banaciski had five goals and an assist to lead St. John the Baptist to a 12-7 win over St. Dominic in the NSCHSAA Class A boys lacrosse final on Thursday.

Nick Limberg scored three goals, Matt Rotolo scored two goals and Will Shaw made eight saves for St. John the Baptist (15-5). St. Dominic finished 9-4.

Syosset 19, Herricks 4: David Disque had six goals and four assists and Brody Waxer had five goals and an assist to lead No. 3 Syosset (9-8) over No. 6 Herricks (12-5) in the Nassau Class A quarterfinals. Syosset plays No. 2 Massapequa in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Monday at Hofstra.

Wantagh 12, Plainedge 2: Devin Paccione had two goals and four assists to lead No. 1 Wantagh (14-3) past No. 8 Plainedge (7-7) in the Nassau Class C quarterfinals. Kyle Conklin made 14 saves and Will Greaves won 14 faceoffs.

Wantagh plays the winner of No. 4 Bethpage/No. 5 Floral Park in the semifinals at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hofstra.

WEDNESDAY’S GAMES

Northport 14, Bay Shore 9: Luke Loiacano scored four goals to lead No. 2 Northport (14-2) over No. 7 Bay Shore (11-7) in the Suffolk Class A quarterfinals.

Northport hosts No. 3 Ward Melville in the semifinals at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Half Hollow Hills 13, Connetquot 9: Anthony Raio had four goals and three assists to lead No. 1 Half Hollow Hills (16-1) over No. 9 Connetquot (9-9). Hills hosts No. 4 Huntington in the semifinals at noon on Saturday.

GIRLS LACROSSE

North Shore 9, Seaford 8: Natalie Yoo scored the winning goal 40 seconds into the first overtime period to give No. 5 North Shore a 9-8 victory over No. 4 Seaford in the Nassu Class C quarterfinals. Adriana Mavlios had six goals and one assist and Hailey Ayres made five saves.

Amanda Williamson had three goals and two assists for Seaford, which finished 8-8.

North Shore (6-11) plays No. 1 Manhasset in the semifinals at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Adelphi.

Lynbrook 14, Roslyn 8: Brooke Mazzei had three goals and three assists to lead No. 7 Lynbrook (7-9) over No. 10 Roslyn (5-10) in the first round of the Nassau Class C playoffs. Olivia Palleschi had two goals and two assists.

Lynbrook plays at No. 2 Wantagh in the quarterfinals at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday.

WEDNESDAY’S GAMES

Westhampton 11, Mount Sinai 8: Lily Graves had four goals, four draw controls and two ground balls to lead No. 4 Westhampton (11-6) over No. 5 Mt. Sinai (7-9) in the Suffolk Class C quarterfinals. Reese King had five draw controls, one goal, four assists and four ground balls.

Westhampton plays at No. 1 Sayville in the semifinals at noon on Saturday.

Rocky Point 12, Islip 1: McKenzie Moeller had three goals and three assists to lead No. 3 Rocky Point (14-3) over No. 6 Islip (9-7). Cadence Adamo had three goals and Fiona Vu had two goals and six draw controls.

Rocky Point plays at No. 2 Bayport-Blue Point in the semifinals at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Mepham 13, New Hyde Park 3: Grace Skulavik had five goals and three assists to lead No. 3 Mepham (12-5) past No. 6 New Hyde Park (7-8) in the Nassau Class B quarterfinals.

Mepham plays No. 2 Long Beach in the semifinals at 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Adelphi.

Long Beach 18, Carey 2: Keira Fontaine had three goals and one assist and Ella Timperio added two goals and three assists to lead No. 2 Long Beach (9-7) past No. 7 Carey (11-4). Marianna Chimienti had two goals and two assists.

St. Dominic 6, Kellenberg 5: Avery Nardi scored the winner off an assist from Lilly DeNatale with 10 seconds left to lead St. Dominic (7-7) in CHSAA.

Oyster Bay 9, East Rockaway 8:

Alex Karpavicius was 3-for-4 with three RBIs to lead No. 1 Oyster Bay over No. 4 East Rockaway in Game 1 of a best-of-three Nassau Class B semifinal on Wednesday. East Rockaway (8-13) hosts Oyster Bay (17-3) in Game 2 at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

SOFTBALL

Syosset 14, Hicksville 0: Nicolette Ferraro struck out seven in a five-inning shutout as No. 2 Syosset (13-7) defeated No. 7 Hicksville (8-11) in the Nassau Class AAA quarterfinals.

Syosset hosts the winner of No. 3 Oceanside/No. 6 Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK to begin a best-of-three semifinals on Saturday.

Carle Place 12, East Rockaway 0: Marissa Nosovitch struck out 11 while allowing two hits in five innings to lead No. 1 Carle Place over No. 4 East Rockaway in Game 1 of a best-of-three Nassau Class B semifinal. Carle Place (9-7) hosts East Rockaway (14-6) in Game 2 at 4 p.m. on Friday.

GIRLS BADMINTON

Mepham 6, Herricks 1: Sophia Green and Julia Amon defeated Angela Wang and Janet Chen, 21-8, 21-14, at first doubles to lead No. 4 Mepham over No. 12 Herricks in the Nassau quarterfinals.

Mepham (10-6) plays at No. 1 Great Neck South in the semifinals at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Kellenberg 3, St. John the Baptist 1: Ethan Murray had 20 kills as No. 1 Kellenberg defeated No. 4 St. John the Baptist, 25-16, 17-25, 25-15, 25-16, in the CHSAA semifinals on Wednesday. Kellenberg (15-1) plays No. 2 Chaminade in the final at 5 p.m. on Monday at Adelphi.
