Just a brief and notable program note: TCM will begin its Nicholas Ray tribute tonight with "Knock on Any Door." Check out the clip below. Ray -- best known, I guess, for "Johnny Guitar" and, of course, "Rebel without a Cause" -- was a major '50s director who anticipated the inchoate "youth movement" or at least captured an aspect of it. It's good for TCM to highlight this cinematic titan.
