We met the group Mindless Behavior backstage at the Best Buy Theater in Manhattan a few weeks ago. We met Prodigy, Roc Royal, Ray Ray and Princeton right after they finished a photo session with lots of their fans. We love their music -- and we like them even more after seeing them perform live. RAY RAY: Drake, Kanye West and Justin Bieber.

PRODIGY: Chris Brown, Usher and Drake

PRINCETON: I would like to work with No Doubt

ROC ROYAL: I would like to work with Big Sean.

What are your major inspirations for your music?

RAY RAY: Our families and our fans.

PRINCETON: And just because we love it.

How did you come up with Prodigy, Ray Ray, Roc and Princeton for names?

RAY RAY: I had the name from birth. So the group thought it fit me because I'm the pretty boy in the group.

PRODIGY: The Camp started calling me Prodigy because I catch on to music and dancing fast.

PRINCETON: One of my managers Keisha Gamble created Princeton because whenever on our break time I was always learning something new and I know a lot about music history.

ROC ROYAL: Part of our management team came up with the name Roc Royal because the Roc side of me I like to give 100 percent but the Royal side of me is the sensitive side.

What are your favorite dances?

RAY RAY: I love the moon walk. I love to glide.

PRODIGY: Mine's is the hip rocker.

PRINCETON: I like the MB Dance . . . .

ROC ROYAL: Mine is The Chicken.

As a group do you always agree when making artistic decisions?

PRINCETON: We're all very different in many ways, but whenever there's major like shows, just problems, our managers pretty like handle all that. But we just focus on our artistry to the fans.

How did you come up with Mindless Behavior as your name?

RAY RAY: Our manager Keisha Gamble and Walter Millsap came up with the name Mindless Behavior.

What is your favorite part about touring and recording?

RAY RAY: The fans, I love seeing the fans.

PRODIGY: Fans and traveling . . . I don't like flying.

PRINCETON: With me, performing. I like just being on stage. I let everything go. Everything that I'm going through or stressed out about. When I'm on that stage I don't think about nothing.

RAY RAY: I could say acting because when we're on stage we have different characters.

How did you meet?

PRINCETON: Our manager, Keisha, and Walter Millsap created the group and from there we auditioned. It was me and Roc, we were the first to meet, and then Prodigy came along and then Ray Ray.

Would you like to start your own clothing line?

Yeah, definitely. Very soon there's going to be MB Clothing line.

How do you manage school, work and music?

PRINCETON: We're home schooled. Whenever we have time and settled down in our hotel rooms, airplane or on the tour bus, we're always doing homework. Online and the books.

Did you ever think that you would be where you are now?

ROC ROYAL: Actually . . . at the beginning we didn't know where we were going to be. We were just doing it for fun, but now we know that we're here and we're just having fun.

PRINCETON: I never. I was just in the car thinking it feels like just yesterday was our first time in New York and we were in Times Square for the first time in our pajamas. Nobody knew who we were.

RAY RAY: I remember that, too. I had these SpongeBob SquarePants on etc.

ROC ROYAL: At the beginning, our biggest plan was to be as big as Michael Jackson.

PRODIGY: I actually always knew that we would like get to the stage. I always thought positive, which the fans should do, just keep on doing what they love. Don't let nobody bring you down.

What age did you start to dance?

PRINCETON: I started dancing when I was 2 years old. I was actually at home from vacation watching videos. That was the funniest thing in the world.

ROC ROYAL: I started dancing when I was 4.

Do you play instruments?

ROC ROYAL: No none of us.

PRODIGY: I'm learning how to play the drums. I'm getting better at it.

ROC ROYAL: Actually I use to play the flute.
