Actress Necar Zadegan talks real-life fashion at New York Fashion Week
You’d think that Necar Zadegan, who plays Delia, the cutthroat divorce attorney fashionista on the Bravo hit “The Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce,” would want to keep all those gorgeous clothes she wears on the show, but no.
“It’s all about the storytelling,” she said at Tadashi Shoji’s show, where she sat wearing a fedora (“I’m a hat girl until the day I die”) and one of the designer’s printed dresses.

She said she wears plenty of Herve Leger, Altuzarra and Gucci on the show and collaborates closely with costume designer Cynthia Summers, but, “You have to remember, I’m an actress not an attorney in real life.” The clothes tell the tale of what’s going on in Delia’s life, like a conservative wedding dress that reflected the fact that “Delia’s caught in a storm,” she said.
On a regular day, find the statuesque Zadegan in black jeans, a tee shirt and definitely boots, from basic old Fryes to sexy high-heeled jobs. Oh yeah, and “I like Valentino, too,” she said.
