The always-stylish actress Gabrielle Union wants women to stand together in the face of sexual harassment, and so is doing just that — standing with her fellow “Being Mary Jane” castmates, that is, in the new ad campaign for her spring fashion line with New York & Company.
You’ll spot Union alongside her costars in the BET dramatic series — Lisa Vidal, Margaret Avery and Raven Goodwin — in an ad campaign entitled #AllTogetherNow, celebrating diversity in age and body type. Union hopes women will post photos in social media (using that hashtag, of course) of friends, family or their fave celebs — anyone who inspires and motivates them.

“We need to come together,” Union said in a press release. “Rise up. We will not be defeated.”
The ad campaign may be a welcome relief for fans of the show, who were likely disappointed when BET announced last fall that in lieu of a final season, the series, which features Union as a TV news anchor, will conclude with a two-hour movie. That film is expected to air later this year.
Union’s collection, priced $34.95 and up, offers a range of sizes (0 to 20, and XS to XXL). And in April the line will expand to include additional sizes of plus, petite and tall. It’s now at New York & Company stores and nyandcompany.com.
