Man charged with burglarizing 6 businesses in Nassau County, police say
A Hicksville man is accused of burglarizing six businesses in Nassau County since the summer, police said.
Scott Gilmor, 42, is charged with six counts of third-degree burglary, Nassau County police said in a news release. He is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Saturday.

Gilmor was arrested Friday evening in Westbury after he allegedly broke into Ralph's Famous Italian Ices in Plainview about 3 a.m. Friday, police said. He was identified through video surveillance.
Gilmor allegedly also stole money and electronics from five other businesses, police said. He is charged with stealing from New York Barbell Fitness Equipment in Jericho in July and Post Time Tavern in Westbury in September. In November, police said, he stole from three businesses: Old Country Food Market in Westbury, E-Smoke Shop in East Meadow and Circle K convenience store in Hicksville.
