A woman who drove her vehicle into the front of a house in Islandia was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, Suffolk County police said Monday.

Deisy Atahua, 51, of Islandia, was driving her 2011 Toyota on Silverleaf Lane about 11 p.m. Sunday when it went off the road, police said.

A woman who drove her vehicle into the front of a house in Islandia was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, Suffolk County police said Monday.

Deisy Atahua, 51, of Islandia, was driving her 2011 Toyota on Silverleaf Lane about 11 p.m. Sunday when it went off the road, police said.

The vehicle hit the house, but there was no structural damage and no injuries, police said.

Atahua was awaiting arraignment in First District Court in Central Islip.
