Cops: One dead, three wounded in Hempstead shooting
A 19-year-old man was fatally shot and three other men were wounded Saturday night in Hempstead, Nassau County police said.
Officers responded to a call reporting shots fired at 10:10 p.m. near 77 Terrace Ave., according to police. The 19-year-old victim, Jaden Omaree Johnson of Hempstead, was rushed to a hospital where he later died, police said.

Three other shooting victims, a 23-year-old Hempstead man shot in the ankle, a 31-year-old man, also of Hempstead, wounded in the thigh, and a 35-year-old Westbury man shot in the leg, were all taken to hospitals and listed in stable condition Sunday, police said.
Additional information about the shooting, including about a possible suspect or suspects, was not released.
