A Bay Shore man was fatally shot in his driveway Thursday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

Jose Manuel Sosa, whose age was not given, was shot at about 4:50 p.m. outside a Walbridge Avenue home. He later died from his injuries at South Shore University Hospital, police said.

A Bay Shore man was fatally shot in his driveway Thursday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

Jose Manuel Sosa, whose age was not given, was shot at about 4:50 p.m. outside a Walbridge Avenue home. He later died from his injuries at South Shore University Hospital, police said.

Sosa had just exited his vehicle and was on the side of his home when a car pulled up and a male exited and fired multiple shots, police said.

The shooter and victim were about 10 to 15 feet away from one another at the time of the shooting, authorities said.

The suspect was last seen wearing a mask and dark clothing, police said. The victim was targeted, authorities said, but no specific reason as to why was released.
