A driver with 20 suspensions on his license was nabbed Wednesday, thanks to a State Police vehicle equipped with a license plate reader, police said.

About 10 p.m., the reader indicated that a green Ford Econoline van on the Northern State Parkway in Lake Success had a suspended registration. The trooper patrolling near the Lakeville Road exit pulled the driver over, police said.

A license check found that the driver, Ande Males, 26, of the Bronx, had 20 suspensions, police said.

He was arrested and charged with operating with a suspended registration — a violation — and aggravated unlicensed operation, a class E felony.

At his arraignment Thursday in Nassau County First District Court, Males was released on his own recognizance, according to online court records.

He is due back in court on Monday.
