Erin Beirne, of Melville, has received the 2024 Counselor of the Year Award from the Nassau Counselors’ Association in recognition of her contributions to the profession and students. Beirne is a guidance counselor at Baldwin High School, where she has worked for 15 years, and has also served as the school’s senior awards co-chairwoman and a club adviser. In addition, she is a member of the Nassau Counselors’ Association and has served as an executive board member.
