Police said officers responding to a residential Baldwin Harbor neighborhood for a late-night call of shots fired found one man dead and a second man wounded Sunday.

It was not immediately clear if both men had been shot -- or if anyone else is believed to be involved.

Police said officers responding to a residential Baldwin Harbor neighborhood for a late-night call of shots fired found one man dead and a second man wounded Sunday.

It was not immediately clear if both men had been shot -- or if anyone else is believed to be involved.

Nassau County police said the investigation was continuing Monday morning and said no arrests had been made.

One victim was found near the intersection of Grand Avenue and Adams Street at about 10:40 p.m., police said. The second man was found about a block away -- near the intersection of Grand and Lincoln Street. The injured man was transported to a hospital for treatment. His condition was unknown.

Police said roads in the area remained closed Monday.
