Nassau County police are looking for three men who punched and kicked a man in Roosevelt Monday before taking his cellphone.

Police said in a Tuesday news release that the victim was jumped from behind as he walked in front of a Cumberland Avenue home at about 11:25 p.m.

Nassau County police are looking for three men who punched and kicked a man in Roosevelt Monday before taking his cellphone.

Police said in a Tuesday news release that the victim was jumped from behind as he walked in front of a Cumberland Avenue home at about 11:25 p.m.

The three suspects punched and kicked him, causing him to fall to the ground, police said. They then took his cellphone and fled, the release said.

Nassau County Police Ambulance took the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for a laceration to the eye, police said.
