A pedestrian was robbed in Manhasset early Sunday of his cellphone by two men, one armed with a handgun, Nassau County police said.

The victim, a 36-year-old man, was walking on Plandome Road near Webster Avenue at 2:15 a.m. when two men approached him, police said.

A pedestrian was robbed in Manhasset early Sunday of his cellphone by two men, one armed with a handgun, Nassau County police said.

The victim, a 36-year-old man, was walking on Plandome Road near Webster Avenue at 2:15 a.m. when two men approached him, police said.

One of the men showed the victim a handgun and demanded property from him, police said. The victim took his cellphone out of his pocket and threw it across the road, prompting the two men to run after it while the victim ran away, police said.

The victim was not injured.

The two suspects were described as between 25 and 30 years old. The man with the gun had shoulder-length dreadlocks, police said.
