Police said an elderly couple were robbed by two men and a boy who they'd allowed into their home for a drink of water Sunday in North Bellmore.

The 76-year-old man and 73-year-old woman were not injured, Nassau County police said.

Police said an elderly couple were robbed by two men and a boy who they'd allowed into their home for a drink of water Sunday in North Bellmore.

The 76-year-old man and 73-year-old woman were not injured, Nassau County police said.

The trio stole $60 from the man's wallet before fleeing in a green or grey Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with Florida plates, police said.

Police said the incident occurred on Bennett Avenue at 4:10 p.m.

They said the three suspects came to the house and asked the victims for a drink of water. Once inside, they stole the cash from the man's wallet.

Two of the suspects are believed to be in their 20s while the boy may be a young teen, police said. One wore black pants, a black shirt and a black baseball cap. Another was heavy set and wore plaid shorts, police said. The boy, believed to be about 13 years old, wore a Chicago Cubs jersey, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding to trio to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
