A Massapequa man arrested and charged with exposing himself to a woman in 2011 has pleaded guilty to public lewdness, a misdemeanor, and paid a fine, records show.

Gary Roven was arrested in May 2011 after the incident, which Nassau County police said occurred at the state Department of Motor Vehicles complex on Carmans Road in Massapequa.

A Massapequa man arrested and charged with exposing himself to a woman in 2011 has pleaded guilty to public lewdness, a misdemeanor, and paid a fine, records show.

Gary Roven was arrested in May 2011 after the incident, which Nassau County police said occurred at the state Department of Motor Vehicles complex on Carmans Road in Massapequa.

Police said Roven told the woman, whose identity was not released, that she had a spider on her foot and said that when she kicked off her shoe Roven bent down, grabbed her foot and exposed himself.

Roven was charged with third-degree sexual abuse and public lewdness and court records show he pleaded guilty to public lewdness on Feb. 28, 2012, and was fined $300 -- the victim being granted a two-year order of protection.
