Teen robbed of cellphone on Elmont street
One of the robbers placed him in a choke hold as he walked home from school Thursday afternoon in Elmont, police said. The two robbers then told the 14-year-old: "Give us everything you got."
Nassau County police are searching for two teens they said robbed the teen on Second Street at 4:20 p.m., taking his Droid cellphone.

The 14-year-old was not injured, police said.
The two robbers are described as being between 15 and 18 years old -- one about 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds, wearing a black hoodie, black pants, blue Nike sneakers and glasses; the other, about 5-foot-2, 130 pounds, wearing a black hoodie, black pants and carrying a red backpack, police said.
Police ask anyone with information about the street robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
All calls will remain confidential, police said.
