One man killed, another hurt after wall collapses at Manorhaven construction site
One worker died and another suffered minor injuries after a concrete wall collapsed in Manorhaven during a Monday demolition project, Nassau County police said.
The two men, ages 20 and 56, were working at a residence on Kirkwood Road when the wall came down, according to police.

As he was being taken to a hospital, the 20-year-old man suffered a cardiac arrest, police said. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The other worker was treated at a hospital for minor injuries. The victims' identities were not immediately released.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
