The candidates for Suffolk County executive, Democrat Steve Bellone and Republican Angie Carpenter, will square off Wednesday night in a live televised debate on News 12 Long Island.

The debate between Bellone, Babylon Town supervisor, and Carpenter, Suffolk County treasurer, will be aired from 7 to 8 p.m.

The candidates for Suffolk County executive, Democrat Steve Bellone and Republican Angie Carpenter, will square off Wednesday night in a live televised debate on News 12 Long Island.

The debate between Bellone, Babylon Town supervisor, and Carpenter, Suffolk County treasurer, will be aired from 7 to 8 p.m.

The debate is part of News 12's Island Vote 2011 coverage of more than 150 races and 45 local debates in Nassau and Suffolk.
