Body found in Sunken Meadow State Park is identified by state police
A man whose body was found Monday afternoon at Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park has been identified and his death is considered a homicide, according to police.
The victim has been identified as Yoneli Abimael Ramos Moreno, 20, of Brentwood. He was found by park goers off a trail at the eastern end of the park, state police said in a news release. His death is being investigated as a homicide and, state police said, "it has been established that his death occurred recently."
