A North Amityville woman was the victim of a fatal hit-and-run accident early Friday in North Lindenhurst, police said.

Police are investigating the death of Christina Ramdas, 22, who was "in the westbound lane" on Route 109, east of Wellwood Avenue, at about 3:30 a.m. when she was struck by a westbound vehicle that then fled, Suffolk County police said.

A North Amityville woman was the victim of a fatal hit-and-run accident early Friday in North Lindenhurst, police said.

Police are investigating the death of Christina Ramdas, 22, who was "in the westbound lane" on Route 109, east of Wellwood Avenue, at about 3:30 a.m. when she was struck by a westbound vehicle that then fled, Suffolk County police said.

Ramdas was pronounced dead at the scene.
