A hit-and-run crash seriously injured a Brentwood man early Friday morning on Route 109 in West Babylon and police are now searching for the vehicle -- a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Mercedes-Benz.
Corey Hall, 29, was crossing Route 109 from East Drive when he was struck just after midnight, Suffolk County police said. Police said Hall was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip via West Babylon Ambulance. He is listed in serious condition, police said.

Police said the vehicle that struck Hall was described is dark-colored or black and possibly is a Mercedes-Benz.
It might have sustained left-side front-end damage, according to police, who did not reveal what evidence was recovered at the crash scene.
