A raging fire consumed a home in Centereach early Thursday morning but not before three residents escaped the blaze without injury, officials said.

Suffolk County fire officials said firefighters from the Setauket, Terryville and Selden fire departments battled the blaze on Arbor Ridge Lane.

A raging fire consumed a home in Centereach early Thursday morning but not before three residents escaped the blaze without injury, officials said.

Suffolk County fire officials said firefighters from the Setauket, Terryville and Selden fire departments battled the blaze on Arbor Ridge Lane.

The fire was reported at about 2:45 a.m.

Setauket Ambulance, Stony Brook University Ambulance and Port Jefferson Ambulance also were on the scene. There were no reported injuries.

Arson investigators were trying to determine the cause of the fire, which was not deemed suspicious. Pictures from the scene showed the two-story home engulfed in flames.
