A West Babylon man was killed after being struck by a tow truck early Tuesday morning in East Farmingdale, police said.

Suffolk County police said the crash occurred about 2:30 a.m. as the man was crossing Route 109 at Route 110. He was struck by a 2022 Dodge Ram tow truck that was westbound on Route 109. The victim was identified by police as Angel Miranda, 34.

Suffolk County police said the crash occurred about 2:30 a.m. as the man was crossing Route 109 at Route 110. He was struck by a 2022 Dodge Ram tow truck that was westbound on Route 109. The victim was identified by police as Angel Miranda, 34. 

Police said the driver of the tow truck was not injured.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
