A vehicle hit a pedestrian in North Amityville Sunday night, sending one victim to the hospital, police said.

Suffolk County Police received a call at 9:27 p.m. of an accident at Jefferson Avenue and Broadway. Police said the pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital. The victim's condition listed as serious Sunday night, police said.
