Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County police said Thursday they are trying to find a suspect in a series of July burglaries in Port Jefferson Station and Setauket.

Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County police said Thursday they are trying to find a suspect in a series of July burglaries in Port Jefferson Station and Setauket.

Sixth Squad detectives Thursday released photographs of the suspect, taken from video surveillance at one of the businesses.

Police said the suspect broke into several businesses in the two hamlets between July 13 and July 14, taking undisclosed amounts of cash from the registers.
