A young driver was injured after the car he was driving crashed through a double set of windows at the Petco store on Middle County Road in Credit: Christopher SabellaSelden. This is the second time in 7 months that someone drove through the large plate glass windows into the store. Selden firefighters transported the subject to University Hospital in Stony Brook with unknown injuries. No one in the store was injured. (Jan. 16. 2012)

A teenager driving a red Dodge crossover lost control and smashed into the storefront of a Petco pet products store in Selden Monday night, Suffolk police said.

Police said neither the 16-year-old driver, customers, employees nor any animals were injured in the incident at 1100 Middle Country Rd. at about 6:45 p.m.
