New York Lottery: 2 winning Take 5 tickets sold on Long Island

Two lucky winners will collect $34,984 each after hitting all five numbers in Wednesday’s Take 5 drawing — one of the tickets bought in Plainview, the other in East Islip, New York Lottery officials said.

The winning East Islip ticket for the Wednesday night drawing was sold at East Islip Card & Gift on East Main Street.

Two lucky winners will collect $34,984 each after hitting all five numbers in Wednesday’s Take 5 drawing — one of the tickets bought in Plainview, the other in East Islip, New York Lottery officials said.

The winning East Islip ticket for the Wednesday night drawing was sold at East Islip Card & Gift on East Main Street.

The winning Plainview ticket was sold at Applegreen North East on Old Country Road.

Each ticket correctly selected the winning numbers: 15, 29, 32, 37 and 38. The winning numbers for Take 5 are drawn nightly at 11:21 p.m. from a set of 39 available numbers, officials said.

Statewide, officials said 201 other players correctly selected four of five numbers — for a cash prize of $522.

Another 7,068 players will cash tickets worth $24.50 each for correctly guessing three of the five numbers, while 77,563 players will get free tickets for hitting two of the five numbers.

The winners can claim their prizes a Lottery Customer Service Centers statewide, including the Long Island location on the Long Island Expressway south service road location in Plainview or the Jamaica, Queens, location at Resorts World Casino on Rockaway Boulevard, officials said.
