Tuesday and Wednesday look to be wet, bringing between one and two inches of rain to the region over the two days, forecasters said. Tuesday's rain starts after 1 p.m. and lingers through the evening and into Wednesday, with showers most of the day.

Both days will have a daytime high of 58 degrees — about 10 degrees above normal, the weather service said.

On Thursday, a high pressure system clears the way for sunshine and a high of 54 degrees. There is a 30% chance of showers on Friday afternoon but otherwise it will be partly sunny with a high of 49 before a partly sunny but chillier weekend, forecasters said.
