Forecast: Above-average warmth, but also rain

Long Islanders can expect a stretch of above-average warmth for the rest of the week, but it will come with a chance of rain every day, according to the National Weather Service.
After a mostly clear overnight, clouds return Wednesday with a high near 65 degrees and a low of 54 after dark. There's also a 20% chance of showers Wednesday night, the weather service said.

"Somewhat cooler air arrives Friday, but still several degrees above normal," the weather service said.
Highs in the low 60s are forecast for Friday. There is a chance of rain early in the day, but then it should gradually become sunny, the weather service said.
Saturday is expected to be partly sunny, with rain possible in the afternoon and overnight. Temperatures are again forecast to be in the low 60s, the weather service said.
"Highs fall back into the 50s Sunday and Monday with temperatures at or just below normal," the weather service said.
Sunday should be mostly sunny, but there is another chance of rain on Monday, the weather service said.
