Storms, showers, and unsettled weather predicted through Wednesday
A flood advisory issued earlier Monday by the National Weather Service has expired and the sun has come out much of Long Island.
The advisory, which expired at 4:30 p.m., was issued as thunderstorms moved through the region, dumping heavy rain on Long Island.

There is still a 30% chance of additional storms Monday through the overnight hours. And this week, showers are likely, on and off, through Wednesday night. Highs will be in the low 80s, with higher temperatures expected Thursday and Friday, along with mostly sunny conditions.
