Madison DeMaio struck out 20 batters, allowing one hit, five walks and one unearned run, to lead Sewanhaka to a 5-1 softball win over Floral Park in Nassau IV on Thursday. Sewanhaka improved to 2-10. Erin Ring struck out 12 for Floral Park (4-10).

Islip 3, Miller Place 2: Grace Ryan scored from second on a groundball to first, beating the throw in the bottom of the seventh to win the game for Islip (12-2) in Suffolk VI. Ryan had two doubles. Winning pitcher Lauren McSweeney struck out 10 in a complete game.

Centereach 13, Bellport 9: Madysen Bauer drove in eight runs with two grand slams and struck out seven in earning the win for Centereach (5-11) in Suffolk III.

Manhasset 15, Locust Valley 4: Lily Kaye and Giana Cerrone hit three-run homers for Manhasset (12-0) in Nassau V. Cerrone finished with four RBIs.

BASEBALL

West Islip 2, Sayville 0: Sean Cantwell pitched a complete game shutout, throwing 83 pitches and allowing four hits for West Islip (13-4) in non-league.

WEDNESDAY’S GAMES

Longwood 10, Central Islip 0: CJ Forman tossed a 13-strikeout no-hitter and walked only one to lead Longwood (13-2) in Suffolk I. It was Forman’s second no-hitter of the season after throwing a perfect game last Friday.

St. Dominic 1, St. John the Baptist 0: Danny Onorato tossed an eight-strikeout complete game to lead St. Dominic (15-2) in CHSAA. Victor Frederick hit a third-inning single to drive in Dom Muccia. Aidan Casey threw a seven-strikeout complete game for St. John the Baptist (8-7).

BOYS LACROSSE

South Fork 19, Brentwood 0: Charlie Corwin had five goals and an assist for South Fork (9-5) in Suffolk I. Isaiah Lattanzio added three goals and three assists.

WEDNESDAY’S GAMES

St. Anthony’s 19, Fordham Prep 2: Quinn Langton had five goals and two assists to lead St. Anthony’s (10-2) over Fordham Prep in non-league.

Comsewogue 8, Bayport-Blue Point 7: Ryan Button scored the winning goal off a Brayden Arias assist 2:30 into overtime to lead Comsewogue (9-4) in Suffolk II. Connor Curran had two goals and two assists for Bayport-Blue Point (12-1).

Kellenberg 14, Island Trees 13: Donovan O’Toole scored four goals, including the winner with 12 seconds left in the fourth quarter to lift Kellenberg (4-9) to a non-league win. Joe Filocamo had six goals and Kian McCoy had five goals and two assists for Island Trees (9-3).

West Islip 12, Shoreham-Wading River 8: Chase Busking scored four goals and Quinn Reilly had three goals and two assists to lead West Islip (7-6) in Suffolk II. Liam Kershis had three goals and three assists for Shoreham-Wading River (8-4).

GIRLS LACROSSE

Bayport-Blue Point 12, Comsewogue 5: Julia Fusco scored four goals to lead Bayport-Blue Point (13-2) in Suffolk II.

Mattituck 14, Kings Park 4: Gianna Calise scored six goals and had two assists and Page Kellershon had one goal and six assists for Mattituck (9-5) in Suffolk II. Claire McKenzie added four goals.

FLAG FOOTBALL

Longwood 31, Ward Melville 6: Delaney Israel completed 17 of 26 passes for 275 yards and four touchdowns for Longwood (6-2-2) in Suffolk I. Tinte’ya Roundtree had 10 carries for 103 yards and a touchdown.

WEDNESDAY’S GAME

Sayville 37, Center Moriches 18: Ava Rueb had 10 flag pulls a sack and an interception for Sayville (10-0) in Suffolk III. Olivia Moynihan completed 10 passes for 209 yards and four touchdowns. Maddy Trace had three TD passes for Center Moriches (6-3).
