Suffolk police to auction 95 vehicles Saturday with minimum bids starting at $500

If you’re looking for a new ride, you may want to keep your Saturday open.
Suffolk County police will auction 95 vehicles at the department’s impound facility at 100 Old Country Rd. in Westhampton, starting at 9 a.m.
Available vehicles include sedans and SUVs, featuring vehicles such as a 2006 BMW X5, 2006 Mercedes ML350, 1994 Lincoln Town Car, 2014 Toyota Prius, 2008 Range Rover and 2008 Infiniti G35x.
There will be a mix of vehicles made by Chevrolet, Hyundai, Jeep, Ford and more available for bidding.
Previews of the vehicles will take place Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., and Saturday one hour before the start of the auction.
The auction will be held rain or shine, police said.
All vehicles will be sold in "as-is" condition with a minimum bid of $500.
Registration is required to bid. Buyers must show a valid government-issued ID to register and must be at least 18 years old.
Full payment is due at the time of sale for purchases up to $2,000. Purchases over $2,000 require a nonrefundable deposit of 25% of the final sale price, police said.
